Site Plan Review

A process established by local ordinance or by-law by which a local board reviews, and potentially imposes conditions on, the appearance and layout of a specific project prior to the issuance of a building permit. - Guidelines for the MBTA Communities Act

According to the MBTA-CA Consensus Warrant Article and the MBTA-CA Backup Warrant Article, the Planning Board would conduct site plan reviews. The Board would use design standards that are incorporated into the zoning by-law to determine whether a planned development is well-integrated into its neighborhood.
