What is the town doing to comply with the MBTA-CA?

The town is proceeding in two ways:

  1. The Planning department is developing a zoning update for Harvard Street.
  2. The Select Board has charged the MBTA-CA Multifamily Permitting Committee with exploring other options.

As of September 24, five warrant articles have been submitted: four by the Select Board and one (a duplicate of one of the Select Board warrant articles) by a group of town meeting members.
